The Wyoming Department of Family Services’ work centers around three values:
-
Safe at home;
-
Giving families opportunities for success; and
-
Supporting the people who support the families.
The Department achieves this vision by giving families opportunities for success throughout their interactions with the Department. Families come in contact with the Department for many reasons, including but not limited to, child abuse and neglect services, adult protection services, juvenile justice services, assistance with food or child care, and child care licensing. Many of the Department’s goals reflect the Department’s desire to improve upon the practice and service delivery that enhance families’ abilities to be successful and remain safe at home.
Our free, safe, and confidential medical services include pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy, and STI testing and treatment. We offer accurate pregnancy option mentoring and will not profit from your decision in any way. We also offer a material resource program, parenting classes, and community referrals. We provide a caring environment for those in difficult pregnancy situations. Formerly known as Elevation Women's Healthcare/Abba's House.
